Public Safety Drills

Every school year, we practice safety drills so the children have experience with these procedures in the event of an emergency. Over the course of the year, we will practice fire drills, tornado drills, and ALICE emergency drills. The drills are always framed with children in developmentally appropriate ways and are never intended to initiate fear or worry. When we have our ALICE drills (emergency evacuation or lockdown), Dr. Detmer will always communicate with our families so you are aware. We encourage families to continue the conversation about safety at home, and to practice similar scenarios at home, as well.
